Boron
|
| |
| Boron might be used, particularly in women, for the promotion of bone and joint health.
There is less evidence to support the claims that Boron enhances cognition and ameliorates
the symptoms of arthritis. There isn't any evidence that Boron promotes the development of
lean muscle mass. |
|
| Doses up to 18 mg of Boron daily appear to be safe for adults even if it is taken for
prolonged periods of time. There isn't any evidence that Boron is either carcinogenic or
mutagenic. No adverse effects have been reported in premenopausal or postmenopausal women
using Boron supplements. This website is intended to educate and inform, and should not
replace discussions with your doctor. |
