Chlorophyll/Chlorophyllin
|
| |
| Chlorophyll and Chlorophyllin might have some antimutagenic and anticarcinogenic potential.
It might also help protect against some toxins and ameliorate some drug side effects. They
are helpful in reducing urinary and fecal odor in some circumstances. They might ease
constipation in some individuals. They could help in the treatment of calcium oxalate stone
disease and might have some anti-atherogenic activity. |
|
| Nursing mothers and women who are pregnant should avoid supplemental Chlorophyll and
Chlorophyllin. Using Chlorophyll and Chlorophyllin supplements may cause discoloration of
the urine, the feces, and the tongue. There are occasional reports of diarrhea when using
these substances. In a mouse model, Chlorophyllin ameliorated some cyclophosphamide side
effects. This website is intended to educate and inform, and should not replace discussions
with your doctor. |
