Glandulars
|
| |
| Glandulars are claimed to have androgenic and estrogenic properties, gland-restorative
activity, immunomodulatory effects, and various rejuvenating qualities. A pharmaceutical
thyroid preparation is used to treat hypothyroidism, but supplemental thyroid products
aren't helpful for this purpose and shouldn't be substituted for pharmaceutical therapy.
Testis and ovary supplements shouldn't be substituted for androgen and estrogen therapies
recommended by doctors. Antiallergy and anti-inflammatory claims made for Glandular
supplements haven't been supported with credible evidence. |
|
| Children, nursing mothers, and women who are pregnant should avoid Glandulars. Glandulars
marketed as nutritional supplements should never be used for androgen, cortisol, estrogen,
or thyroid replacement. This website is intended to educate and inform, and should not
replace discussions with your doctor. |
