| There are claims that Hemp Seed Oil favorably affects lipids, inhibits platelet aggregation,
and lowers the risk of heart attack. It is also claimed to be useful in arthritis,
autoimmune disorders, and inflammation. There isn't any research supporting these
claims. |

| Nursing mothers and women who are pregnant should avoid using supplemental Hemp Seed Oil.
Hemp Seed Oil should be stopped in individuals having surgical procedures. Individuals with
hemophilia and those taking warfarin should be cautious due to the possible antithrombotic
activity of Hemp Seed Oil. Hemp Seed Oil is abundant in linoleic acid. Linoleic acid might
stimulate the growth of prostate cancer and breast cancer cells, so those with prostate or
breast cancer should be cautious about using this substance. Hemp Seed Oil might cause mild
gastrointestinal symptoms, like diarrhea and nausea. Interactions might occur between Hemp
Seed Oil, ALA and its metabolites, and aspirin and other NSAIDs. If such interactions were
to occur, they might be manifested by increased susceptibility to bruising and nosebleeds.
Consideration should be given to lowering or stopping intake if this occurs. Such
interaction might take place between Hemp Seed Oil and warfarin. Interactions might occur if
Hemp Seed Oil is taken with such nutritional supplements as fish oils. Interactions might
occur between Hemp Seed Oil and such herbs as garlic and ginkgo. This website is intended to
